Pia von Peitz is a gorgeous 12 month old German Shepherd who is ready to become your best friend. Would you love the look of a shepherd but in a petite package? Then we have the girl for you!  Darling Pia weighs just shy of 40 pounds, the perfect size to fit on your lap. She has a mild temperament too, just a gentle girl who loves nothing more than being with her people, and she also does wonderfully with other dogs. She knows her "sit" command and is very fond of treats, which she takes gently. A dream on leash, she quickly becomes your shadow, matching your pace and walking with a happy, calm energy. While she's not for a home with cats,  she does well with dogs and currently shares space at the rescue with several others. In playgroups she greets and mingles nicely, and we've seen her  playing a game of chase or sleeping next to another one of her doggie roommate pals.
